“Reveries” is a collection of original watercolors on 100% cotton rag. This series began as an exploration of a new medium, using the offcuts from my larger graphite works. I kept a palette open, with scraps of paper scattered around it, inviting frequent moments of brush to paper. Many of these pieces depict scenery encountered on long runs, where I settled into hours of wandering thoughts. An entire collection made passively, experimenting with paint while enjoying evenings on the porch, lost in reveries.
