This is a limited edition print of a drawing by artist Brie Hayden featuring an antique bottle of Sauer’s Vanilla Extract from Richmond, Virginia. C. F. Sauer founded Sauer Brands in Richmond in 1887, producing flavoring extracts and spices. The company is still in business today, focusing on flavorings and condeiments, inculding Duke's Mayonnaise. A 1920s incandescent bulb advertisement for Sauer’s Vanilla Extract still sits above Richmond's Broad Street. The label design, glass shape, and cork top helps date this specific bottle to the 1900s or 1910s.
