Featured in this piece is a vintage bottle of Old Quaker Bourbon. This brand was started by Franklin Corning, an Ohio native, in 1878. He had a successful liquor business until National Prohibition in 1919, when he was forced to close the business. After Prohibition ended, Schenley Industries revived the brand. This bottle is from 1959, indicated by embossing on the bottom of the glass.
