This piece features a pre-Prohibition whiskey called Oakland, sold out of Washington, D.C. A Washington Post article from 1915 notes that the Conrad-Page Company had just incorporated, while an Evening Star article from 1916 reports the business moving from the 13th Street address shown on this label to a new location on D Street. Together, these references help narrow the date of this bottle to 1915–1916.
