Although the provenance of the reference bottle for this Black Watch Liqueur Whisky piece is unknown, hints of its story peek through in the writing on the bottle. The flask was fitted with a custom engraved metal strap, bearing the initials "T.W.J." on the front and "Summer 1929 Manitoba" on the back. National Limited Distilleries had only acquired the Manitoba distillery in 1927.
