This piece features a vintage bottle of Bellmore Bourbon, produced by Milton S. Kronheim from Washington, D.C. Kronheim entered the liquor business before Prohibition forced him into other ventures. After repeal in 1933, he returned to the liquor industry and became one of the region’s leading liquor distributors. Kronheim was also known for hosting influential “power lunches” attended by politicians, judges, and journalists, making him a notable figure in Washington social and political circles.
