Featured in this piece is a pre- Prohibition whiskey from Baltimore, Maryland. It was one of two flagship whiskies produced by Lamdin, Thompson & Co. The company lost its original location in the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, but rebuilt the following year and continued operations until Prohibition. This bottle dates to between 1906 and 1919, as indicated by the presence of the Pure Food and Drugs Act notice at the base of the label and the company’s closure with the onset of Prohibition.
