Featured in this work is a 1930s bottle of Delbeck & Co. Champagne. The house was founded in 1832 by Félix-Désiré Delbeck, a Flemish banker who married a niece of Madame Clicquot. Just a few years after its founding, Delbeck & Co. became an official supplier to the Court of France under King Louis-Philippe. The royal emblem and motto are prominently displayed on this label.
