This piece is inspired by a 1924 bottle of Grand Vin de Chateau Latour wine. The reference bottle comes from the collection of a prominent wine investor, author, and collector whose archive includes over 2,500 antique bottles. Chateau Latour’s documented history dates back to the 1300s, with the construction of a fortress to protect an estuary during the Hundred Years War. The fortress remains displayed as their logo, 700 years later.
